As Head of Employment Services at NHS Employers, Karen leads and directs the work of the employment services function, incorporating workforce planning; recruitment and retention; health, work and wellbeing; modernising health professions; and employment standards; recruitment and retention; health, work and wellbeing; modernising health professions; and employment standards.

Dr Bob Price, is Director Postgraduate Awards Advancing Healthcare Practice at the Open University; a flexible, work-based distance learning programme for registered healthcare professionals.

Geraint Griffiths started in the NHS in 1991 as part of the NHS Finance Training Scheme, working in acute services in Hertfordshire.  After qualifying in 1994, he moved in community services in Worcestershire responsible for service development and business planning.

Fiona Shield has a clinical background a speech and language therapist with a keen interest in rehabilitation and interprofessional models of team working.

Derek Mowbray is a Director of OrganisationHealth. His specialties are building organisation wide Positive Work Cultures, adaptive leaders, and effective managers.

Dr. Erin Fraher joined the NHS Workforce Review Team in August 2009 on a year’s secondment from the University of North Carolina, where she is Director of the Health Professions Data System (HPDS), at the Cecil G. Sheps Center for Health Services Research. At WRT, Erin will be acting as Academic Researcher.

Stephen Welfare is the Director of Workforce with NHS East of England.  He was previously the Chief Executive of the Essex Workforce Development Confederation and has held Board level positions with four NHS organisations.

Chris has advised the NHS at national, regional and local level, including input to the Department of Health Talent & Leadership Guidance, the NHS Employers Talent Briefing and he has run a Talent and Leadership Masterclass for Chief Executives.

Philippe Lacey is a Director and founder of Ad Esse Consulting Ltd.  After working as an engineering manager in the aerospace sector he has worked as an improvement consultant for over 20 years, specialising in helping organisations achieve sustainable continuous improvement.
